Remember what I said about finishing the new episode before the end of next week? Looks like I'll have to change my plans.

Because it's finished now.

Episode 34 - Dork Side Of The Moon

Maybe I just have too much time on my hands, or maybe I just had a really creative burst out of nowhere, but it's done in record time. When was the last time you only had to wait a week for an episode? I don't think it's ever been done. Not since the show first began anyway.

And if you ask me, the episode isn't half bad. Luma and Umbris have never been my favourite characters - they're just two morons without a backstory or any genuine explanation for their mask fetish. Starting to notice a trend with the Season Two villains. None of them seem to have any genuine reason to come after Yugi and his friends. They're just doing it because they were told to by some whiny teenager.

As for those of you who wondered how Joey and Téa could plausibly be mind-controlled if they're not called Steve, you get your answer here.

I'm seriously impressed by the speed with which you posted this episode, but not with the episode itself. There were a few funny bits, but Lumis and Umbra were hateful characters in this, I have to admit.

I also fully enjoyed the mooninites. And their mooninite laser. I love those guys.

I can't believe the Mooninite dynamic didn't cross my mind for those two, but that was well played. Was hard for me to tell if Umbra was you or stock clips, but Lumis reminded me a lot of how you played characters in the earlier episodes.

...and now for Dark Joey and Dark Tea repeating the same stock phrases over and over for four episodes straight. Yaaay :B

Was in the name of the moon a Sailor Moon reference? I really loved the voices you gave those two, that was totally awesome.

Also glad someone, particually you, pointed out the rather lazy animation with YGO sometimes.

For some reason this episode seemed to have everything make sense. Well because you had things from other episodes here and it just seemed to tie together.

And yes I'm glad you cleared up the Steve thing. I just assumed their middle name was Steve but you took it somewhere else. Awesome!

I thought you'd mention that Kaiba didn't want to walk. XD
